Where have I been? Recently I've committed to doing a monthly email hopefully focusing on something that everyone will be interested in. Send me an email if you would like to be on my list. pamcase8@cox.net
Here is a little bit from October's newsletter ~ Balance - An Elusive Thing

It seems that today it is really challenging for many of us to live a balanced life. My world lets me know pretty quickly when I am out of balance. Some of the strangest things happen! Things break down or malfunction when I am overstretched, tired or stressed.

I have also discovered (through astrology) that my soul's purpose is to live a life that is harmonious and filled with joy. If I get involved in chaos and drama I'm going backwards! Here are some of the things that I try to do daily to stay balanced.

~ Meditation, Prayer and Gratitude - Every morning (even if it is only 5 minutes) I will consciously close my eyes and stay in the moment. Usually I say, "Breathe Pam out and breathe God in".

~ Find Beauty in the Ordinary - Birds at my feeders, grandchildren's hands and feet, the smell of a rose or laughing with a friend help me to maintain balance.

~ Avoid the News - There simply aren't a whole lot of happy stories to be found in the paper or on TV.

~ Sacred Space - This is where I go when I meditate or simply need to recharge. Some of my favorite things are here.

~ Go Outside in Nature - Luckily I live on an acre that backs up to the woods. There is nothing better than to sit and ponder. I also love walking around my neighborhood. I often ask for a sign to let me know I'm on the right path.

~ Breathe - I will close my eyes and breathe deeply. I find it amazing how I can forget to do this!
